Gemma Grey-Hall nominated to be the Ontario NDP candidate in Windsor Tecumseh

WINDSOR - New Democrats in Windsor-Tecumseh came together to nominate local trailblazer, Gemma Grey-Hall, as the Ontario NDP candidate for the next provincial election.

“There is a legacy of strong, effective, NDP leadership here in Windsor, and I am so excited to join Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP to bring real results for our community,” said Grey-Hall. “After 6 years of Ford, our Windsor residents are struggling. Long health care wait times, strained emergency services to struggling small businesses - something has to change. It’s time we had a government that worked as hard as the people of Windsor did. With Marit Stiles as our next Premier, I know that we will have a government that puts our communities first!”

“There has never been a more crucial time to bring strong, progressive voices like Gemma’s to Queen’s Park,” said Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP Leader. “Gemma’s work in Windsor to further the plight of women, entrepreneurs, and Black women-leaders has been remarkable. I know that as we take on Ford to deliver a better future for Windsor, Gemma’s voice will be invaluable. Today, we’re one step to giving the people of Windsor Tecumseh a strong voice at Queen’s Park!”
